Objective tests include questions that are straightforward with distinct answer choices. Questions may be true/false, yes/no, or on a number scale. Objective personality tests are typically very long.

Objective Test

Projective testing is a method of personality assessment based on the Freudian defense mechanism of projection. It is used to assess unconscious processes by presenting a person with a series of ambiguous stimuli, such as images or incomplete sentences. The individual is then encouraged to project their own feelings, impulses, and desires onto the stimuli by telling a story, interpreting an image, or finishing a sentence.

Projective Testing
