MANIC EPISODES: Condition in where individuals have a period of elevated or irritable mood, energy is increased, racing thoughts, and extreme changes in emotions.
DEPRESSIVE EPISODES: Condition in where individuals have a period of low mood, loss of interest (for example in activities), changes in appetite and sleep.
HYPOMANIA: Condition in where individuals have a period of elevated mood, increased energy, activity and talkativeness which is considered to be abnormal
