Group interventions

Formin: entails group members becoming acquainted with each other, working on gaining acceptance from other members, and gaining deeper insights into the group dynamics. It is characterized by a sense of ambiguity as members seek to figure out their roles within the group and familiarize themselves with its rules and procedures.

Norming: involves the group establishing cohesiveness and commitment. During this phase, group members discover new approaches to working with each other while simultaneously establishing norms for appropriate behavior within the group.
