o	The American Rescue Plan increased access to mental health services since the pandemic. The number of social workers in schools has grown by 53% and the number of counselors in schools has grown by 18% compared to before the pandemic.

To make sure that children with disabilities from all states could be able to do well in school post-pandemic, the American Rescue plan provided $3 billion to the Department of Education’s Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.

The American Rescue Plan is increasing funds for Medicaid by $25 billion temporarily to states for home and community-based services to ensure that people with disabilities can get the care they need post-pandemic.
