If you follow the install instructions of anaconda, there may be no problems. If you quit in the process, you may fail when you re-install it. There may be some conflict that some files have been already installed but others are not. To solve it, you can re-assigne the location of the conda file.

Jupyter Notebook is the main project of Project Jupyter. It is a free,  open-source, browser-based tool for creating and presenting data science work. Jupyter Notebooks are primarily used with Python, but there are various different kernels for other programming languages as well. Jupyter Notebook is integrated within Anaconda.

Anaconda

This package will take an ordinary python file and convert it into an executable that can be run on a computer without Python installed. This is useful for any project you're working on in Python that you want to be available to regular users. This package works on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS. You can even use the one-file setting which creates an executable with no dependency files needed to run it!

PyInstaller

Command-line interface (CLI) is a text-based user interface that allows a user to execute functions through text input (commands). Both Windows and macOS machines have their own CL interpreters:
- Command Prompt/PowerShell (Windows)
- Terminal (macOS - UNIX based)

There are also software package managers for command-line which makes working in a CLI much more comfortable of an experience.

Pygame is a Python library for game development, including multiple independent modules to help create games. It's written on top of SDL, which is a library for interacting with hardware peripherals and graphical displays. Pygame's modules can be installed separately and swapped out, making it a modular package. Pygame is not a game engine or framework.

pyenv is an open-source Python version management tool for the command-line. It allows for the changing of both global and local versions of Python, and resolves the issue of different local Python projects supporting different versions of Python. It also allows for the installation of any currently supported or legacy version of Python. macOS machines utilize pyenv whereas Windows machines must use pyenv-win.

Pylint is a powerful command line tool used to check for errors in python code. Pylint tries to enforece the PEP8 style guide, and can also report back certain errors within the code and recommend edits to resolve them.
