Analyzing Changes to a Feasible Set

An individual has a fixed sum of $500 to allocate between two activities: personal spending (amount 'x') and charitable donations (amount 'y'). The boundary of all possible allocations is represented by a straight line on a graph. Analyze how the entire set of possible allocations (the feasible set) would change if the initial fixed sum were to decrease from $500 to $300. In your answer, describe the change in the boundary line and the overall area of possible choices.
