Analyzing Economic Equality and Work-Life Balance

The economic history of some developed nations in the 20th century shows a distinct pattern: a period of high income inequality and long average working hours was followed by a period of much lower income inequality and shorter average working hours. Analyze the potential connections between these two trends.
