Anatomical Grouping of Eye Structures
The structures of the eye can be grouped based on their general position. Structures like the cornea, pupil, iris, and lens are located in the anterior (front) portion of the eye. Conversely, the retina, fovea, and optic nerve are found in the posterior (back) region.
