Applicability of Experiential Learning in Decision-Making

Consider two different types of decisions: (1) choosing which brand of coffee to buy at the grocery store each week, and (2) choosing a field of study for a university degree. Evaluate the likelihood that an individual will converge toward a satisfactory or 'optimal' choice in each of these scenarios through a simple process of trial, error, and learning from experience. Justify your evaluation by explaining the key characteristics of each decision that make this learning process more or less effective.
