Originally, 30% felt inadequately trained. 40% of nurses both before and after the training said there’s stigma surrounding mental health.

Risk or Suicide Questionnaire (RSQ)

This was developed by Postner et al. to assess severity of suicidal ideation and behavior in adolescents and adults. It includes 17 questions and has 100% sensitivity and 100% specificity.

Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS)

An individual may require suicide risk screening if they exhibit warning signs such as expressions of hopelessness, increased substance use, severe mood swings, social withdrawal, or significant changes in eating or sleeping routines.
