Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis (ABSA)
Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis (ABSA) is a detailed form of text analysis that moves beyond determining the overall sentiment of a text. Instead, it identifies and associates specific sentiments with distinct aspects or features of a topic mentioned within the text, offering a more granular level of understanding for applications where evaluating an entire text is insufficient.

Example of Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis
A restaurant's feedback system analyzes customer reviews and assigns a single overall sentiment score (positive, negative, or neutral) to each one. The system processes the review: 'The pasta was delicious and perfectly cooked, but the service was incredibly slow.' It assigns an overall 'neutral' score. Why is this single score insufficient for the restaurant manager who wants to make specific operational improvements?
