The rhetoric within Aspie Supremacy spaces ties the superiority of autism as a neurotype to perceived genetic and evolutionary superiority much like many racist believes tie the belief in superiority of white people to perceived genetic and evolutionary superiority.

While Aspie supremacy doesn't often overtly mention race, the discourse is eerily similar to that that has been used to justify the systemic institution of slavery, by stating a particular groups "cognitive, intellectual, and philosophical superiority over others based on evolutionary differences"

The framing of neurotypicals by Aspie supremacists as sub-human - sometimes likening neurotypicals to "primates" is similar to the framing by racists of Black individuals as sub-human.
