Balance Sheet

A balance sheet is a financial statement that provides a snapshot of an economic actor's financial position at a specific point in time. It summarizes what is owned (assets) and what is owed (liabilities), and is used to calculate net worth. Balance sheets can be prepared for various entities, including individuals, households, firms, banks, and governments.
