Short Answer

Calculating Pipeline Completion Time

A computational model is distributed across 4 workers in a pipeline. A data batch is split into 8 identical micro-batches. The time required for any single worker to process any single micro-batch is a constant T. The first worker starts processing the first micro-batch at time t=0. At what time will the fourth (final) worker complete its processing of the eighth (final) micro-batch? Explain the components of your calculation.
