Cardiovascular Disease in COVID-19 Patients in Wuhan, China: Prevalence of comorbidities and its effects in patients infected with SARS-CoV-2: a systematic review and meta-analysis
Cardiovascular Disease was the third most prevalent comorbidity in a meta-analysis study comprised of 1,576 COVID-19-infected patients (8.4%, 95% CI 3.8-13.8%). The pooled odds ratio of cardiovascular disease when comparing severe and non-severe infected patients was 3.42 (95% CI 1.88-6.22)
