Competition Among Job Applicants Lowers Their Bargaining Power

When multiple candidates apply for a single position, a competitive environment is created that diminishes the bargaining power of each individual applicant. This situation is analogous to an ultimatum game with several competing Responders, where the Proposer holds a significant advantage.
