Equivalence of Consumption and Production Frontiers for an Independent Producer

In the scenario where an individual, such as Angela as an independent farmer, consumes all the goods they produce, there is a direct equivalence between consumption (cc) and production (yy), expressed as c=yc = y. Consequently, her feasible frontier for consumption is identical to her production function, y=g(24āˆ’t)y = g(24-t). The Marginal Rate of Transformation (MRT) along this frontier is also determined by the derivative of the production function, MRT=g′(24āˆ’t)MRT = g'(24-t).
