Cellular Transportation Necessity of Eukaryotic Cells
Due to their relatively large size, eukaryotic cells require an endomembrane system to transport materials. This specialized transport system is necessary because diffusion alone is insufficient to disperse substances throughout the larger volume of eukaryotic cells.
