Cerozoa

In the eukaryote supergroup Rhizaria, Cerozoa are a subgroup of amoeboid protists characterized by threadlike pseudopodia and complex shells. Some forms are parasitic, such as Spongospora subterranea (which causes powdery scab in potatoes) and Plasmodiophora brassicae (which causes cabbage clubroot).
