Effects of the COVID-19 global pandemic such as economic recession and massive unemployment has made guidance on personal career choice, career adaptability, and career management difficult for individuals. Life Design Counseling (LDC) aims to help clients create a life story, discover an understanding of a life theme so that clients can rewrite individual's identity, clarify individual's self concept, establish life purpose, and explore a path of action.

Life Design Counseling in Times of the Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19)

•Provides a new perspective of career counseling.

•Apply to cross-cultural researches (i.e. Successful researches conducted in United States, France, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, China and other countries).

•Plays preventative role of career counseling vice reactive role when faced with career dilemma.
