Classification of Economies by Labor Market Performance (Figure 1.5)

Based on the data in Figure 1.5, economies can be categorized by their labor market performance. Common patterns include low-unemployment, high-employment economies (like Norway) and high-unemployment, low-employment economies (like Spain). However, other combinations, such as Germany's profile of low participation with strong employment and unemployment rates, also exist.
