Concept

Cognitive Behavioral Groups

Cognitive-Behavioral groups reshape patients' beliefs and behaviors, encouraging positive self-perception. Sessions last 60-90 minutes. Providers guide but don't dominate discussions, addressing resistance with empathy and firmness. Providers should also focus on beliefs, coping skills, thought processes, or behavior based on the needs of the Clients.
