Cognitive functioning in Bipolar I and II individuals impact learning abilities

BD I patients performed worse than controls on measures such as working memory, verbal learning, psychomotor speed, executive functions and delayed memory. In the case of BD II patients, except for verbal learning and memory, they performed the same in all other measures when compared to BD I patients.
