Activity (Process)

Collect job-preparation details and the customer’s contact preference before ending the first call

Before wrapping up the initial intake call, ask for the information needed to prepare the visit and confirm how the customer wants to be contacted later. Request items such as equipment photos, access instructions, location notes, or the age of the panel so the technician can arrive ready. Then confirm whether the customer prefers phone calls, text messages, or email for follow-up. Gathering both sets of details in one conversation reduces extra back-and-forth and helps the business work efficiently.
