Components of a Skinner Box

A Skinner box contains specific mechanical components designed to monitor and shape animal behavior. It typically features an interactive mechanism, such as a lever for rats or a disk for pigeons, which the animal can press or peck to dispense a food reward. Additionally, the chamber includes a recorder to track behavioral responses and can be equipped with speakers and lights to associate certain behaviors with specific environmental stimuli.
