Scope provides the map with an owner, purpose, and title.

- Title: The name of the product or problem to be addressed
- Owner: Team or person who created and is responsible for the roadmap
- Date: Date of creation or last update
- Vision: High level goals or strategy that the roadmap is working towards


Scope

Provides roadmap with three temporal periods.

- Now:  Work that is currently in progress and needs to be completed immediately, typically more specific in nature (hours, days)

- Next: Not immediately pressing, but needs to be done soon (Week/Weeks)

- Future:  Work that is at least 6 months or later away

- Completed and Future++  Shows work on both end of the timeline: what has just been done, and what can be potentially done in the future


Time

Provides a frame of reference, setting, and circumstances, that makes the roadmap understandable to anyone. You can achieve this with these two components:
