Controversy over Jensen's Work on Cognitive Ability

Arthur Jensen's interpretations asserting racial differences in IQ and cognitive ability caused an intense response in a nation dealing with the effects of racism. He also made a number of racist statements indicating his belief that many Black people were not "educable up to a level for which there’s any economic demand" (Taylor, 1992).
