Most COVID-19 infections among healthcare workers occurred during the beginning of the outbreak. Healthcare workers with less exposure to COVID-19 patients had a higher infection rate than first-line healthcare workers. 0.09% of healthcare workers with COVID-19 were asymptomatic, with the viral load of asymptomatic patients being similar to that of symptomatic patients.
