 The figure shows representative images of the CT scans at different times after COVID-19 symptom onset in a 70 year-old woman with adenocarcinoma who had a part of the lung removed and in a 47 year-old man with nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

It is recommended that cancer patients receiving antitumour treatments in hospitals should be screened for COVID-19 and should attempt to avoid or lower the dosage of treatments causing immunosuppression.
