Embodied Theory of Autism highlight that ASD therapy should first focus on the nonverbal part of ASD to strengthen other skills from scratch. Embodied Therapy of ASD assumes that the social impairment in ASD is due to the limited sensory information individuals experience by themselves such as own's body state, heart rate and empathy towards others which leads to deficient social skills and self awareness.
