An individual is currently at a point where their marginal rate of substitution (the amount of consumption they are willing to give up for an extra hour of free time) is less than their marginal rate of transformation (the amount of consumption they can gain by working an extra hour). Explain why this individual is not at their optimal allocation and describe the change they should make to improve their satisfaction.
