Concave Function

A function is defined as concave if its slope, represented by its first derivative f(x)f'(x), decreases as the input variable xx increases. This property corresponds to a second derivative that is less than or equal to zero (f(x)0f''(x) \le 0). Visually, if a straight line is drawn connecting any two points on the function's curve, the curve will always lie on or above this line segment.
