Designing a Credible Signal for a Restaurant

A new, high-quality restaurant opens in a city full of tourist-trap, low-quality restaurants. The new restaurant owner knows their food is excellent, but potential customers cannot tell the difference from the outside. Propose one specific, costly action the high-quality restaurant could take that would serve as a credible signal of its quality, and explain why a low-quality restaurant would find it unprofitable to imitate this same action.
