Short Answer

Distinguishing Capitalist Systems

Imagine an economic system where individuals can own property and can freely buy and sell goods with each other in open marketplaces. However, in this system, the vast majority of production is carried out by families for their own use or for local trade, not by companies that hire workers to produce goods for profit. Based on the core institutional definition of capitalism, explain why this system would not be classified as capitalist.
