Divergent Recovery of US Employment and Unemployment Rates Post-2008 Crisis (Figure 1.4)

An analysis of the US labor market after the global financial crisis shows a divergence in recovery paths for key indicators. While the unemployment rate successfully returned to its pre-crisis level by 2015, the employment rate did not, failing to regain its previous high.
