Documenting Electrical Service Calls

During every service visit, technicians should add written notes to the job record. Notes should state what was found on arrival, what work was completed, any recommendations the customer accepted or declined, and anything that must be revisited later. Photos can show visible conditions, but notes preserve decisions, measurements, and other details that do not appear in an image. Recording a declined estimate also lets the software create a future follow-up task or sales lead.
