Effect of Prenatal Maternal Stress on Offspring's Telomeres

Research has shown a link between maternal stress during pregnancy and the cellular health of their children later in life. One study found that young adults whose mothers endured severe stress while pregnant had shorter telomeres compared to those whose mothers had stress-free pregnancies.
