Before a EIP gets implemented in Ethereum should pass through the next status:
1. **Idea**: A pre-draft idea and not tacked within the EIP Repo.
2. **Draft**: A first one version, open to discuss and formally tracked.
3. **Review**: The Author marks the EIP as ready and request for a peer review.
4. **Last Call**: Set a review end date, it takes typically 14 days.
5. **Final**: 

Note that not All EIPs get implemented.

6. **Stagnant**: When a EIP draft or review stays inactive for 6 months or more.
7. **Withdrawn**: When the EIPs Author have withdrawn the EIP.
8. **Living**: Corresponds to a special status which means the EIP will be continually updated and does not get a final state.

Are known as standards for proposing or suggesting an improvement for the Ethereum Network as a formal way such as protocol changes, operation codes etc. EIP's will be discussed by the community, if accepted, it's going to be implemented by the Ethereum developers, also it can be rejected due to priority, development effort etc.

Ethereum Improvement Proposal Types

This process typically involves creating a *Github* pull request including a Markdown file describing the proposal in detail including:
- Problem statement
- Technical solution
- Potential Impact

The EIP will be discussed by the community and if it's beneficial, it may be accepted.

It involves several steps to ensure the proposal is throughtly evaluated:
- **1**: Propose a Ethereum core proposal.
- **2**: Present the EIP to developers through a discution on an *AllCoreDevs* call.
- **3**: Review an Iterate your proposals based on feedback
- **4**: Incorporation as a new upgrade if approved
- **5**: Activation on the Ethereum Mainnet if tested on the Testnets
