Hyperion is a god of the sun, who with his mate Theia produced Helius, another sun god, Selene, goddess of the moon, and Eos, goddess of the dawn.

Myths of Creation

Helius is a god of the sun like his father, Hyperion. The two are often confused or seen as one entity. The sun god is said to wait in the East, guide his team of horses across the sky from his chariot, and settle in the West, from where he sails back to the East.
