Evaluating a Foundational Stress Model
A foundational model of stress proposes that the body's physiological response to any prolonged demanding or threatening situation unfolds in three distinct phases, eventually leading to depleted physical resources and increased susceptibility to illness. Critically evaluate the main contribution of this model to our understanding of the relationship between stress and health. In your evaluation, also address at least one significant limitation of this perspective.
