Evaluating a Tenancy Contract

A tenant farmer is offered a contract where she can work on a piece of land in exchange for a fixed payment of grain to the landowner. The farmer's goal is to choose her hours of work to achieve the best possible combination of free time and grain for consumption. Under what circumstances would it be rational for the farmer to reject this contract, even if it's the only one available? Explain your reasoning by considering the farmer's available options outside of the contract.
