Evaluating a Unique Monetary Arrangement

A monetary system exists where a group of 14 African nations, with a combined population of nearly 200 million, has its monetary policy effectively determined by the European Central Bank (ECB). However, unlike countries that are formal members of the Eurozone, these African nations have no representation or influence over the ECB's policy decisions. Critically evaluate this arrangement from the perspective of the African nations. In your response, you must argue for at least one significant advantage and one significant disadvantage of this system.
