Evaluating an Economic Statement on National Well-being

An international development analyst makes the following statement: 'Country A has a GDP per capita of $50,000, while Country B has a GDP per capita of $25,000. This data clearly shows that the average income in Country A is double that of Country B, and therefore, the citizens of Country A are unequivocally better off and have a higher quality of life than the citizens of Country B.'

Evaluate the analyst's entire statement. In your evaluation, distinguish between the parts of the statement that represent a valid use of the data and the parts that represent a potential misuse or oversimplification.
