Short Answer

Evaluating an Experiment's Conclusion

A farmer tests a new chicken feed (Feed X) against their standard feed (Feed Y) to see which one results in more eggs. They give Feed X to the chickens in a new, spacious coop and Feed Y to the chickens in an older, more crowded coop. The chickens receiving Feed X laid more eggs. Explain why the farmer's conclusion that Feed X is better might be incorrect. In your answer, identify at least one other factor that could have influenced the results.
