Evaluating Economic Model Representations

An economist is studying the relationship between the number of hours a student studies per week and their final exam score. This relationship can be described verbally ('more studying leads to higher scores'), shown in a table of data, represented by a graph, or summarized with a mathematical equation. Evaluate the primary strengths and weaknesses of using a mathematical equation to represent this relationship compared to using only a verbal description.
