Evaluating Production Strategies in Olive Oil Manufacturing

An olive oil producer owns a small grove and one olive press. To increase production, the owner considers two options:

  1. Hiring more and more workers to operate the single press more intensively.
  2. Keeping the current small team of workers but purchasing a second, identical olive press.

Compare and contrast the likely effects on total olive oil output for each strategy. In your analysis, consider both the initial impact and the potential limitations if the producer were to exclusively and continuously pursue only one of these strategies.
