Examining risk and crisis communications of government agencies and stakeholders during early-stages of COVID-19 on Twitter
Tweets from federal and state-level agencies and stakeholders were studied. They looked at inconsistencies, timeliness, and coordination. They found increased coordination over time and provide insight on how public health agencies and governmental stakeholders can better disseminate information on Twitter.
