Example of a Probationary Period

A new hire, Imani, starts a position with a 90-day probation period. During this time, she meets with her supervisor to discuss her performance, the position's expectations, and her professional growth. At the end of the 90 days, her employer determines she has met all expectations, allowing her to pass the probationary period and secure a permanent job.
