Example of Continuous Reinforcement: Rat in a Skinner Box
An example of continuous reinforcement is B. F. Skinner training a rat to press a lever inside a Skinner box. Every single time the rat presses the lever, it immediately receives a food pellet. This constant and immediate reward allows the rat to quickly associate the lever-pressing behavior with the food consequence.
