Examples of Discrimination against LGBTQ+ Individuals
Discrimination stemming from homophobia and transphobia can manifest in various real-world behaviors. Common examples include the social exclusion of LGBTQ+ individuals from groups, the avoidance of neighbors or coworkers who are part of the LGBTQ+ community, and employment discrimination, where qualified LGBTQ+ job applicants are deliberately not hired.
